  4. Please read and fill out this form carefully and send a hardcopy
  5. of it to the registration site via the postal services. You may
  6. send it as NetMail in as well, but the hardcopy is required for
  7. the form to be processed. The entire form must be mailed and it
  8. must be signed and have your name printed in block letters below
  9. the signature.
  10.  
  11. The registration fee may vary from country to country mostly
  12. depending on local sales tax (VAT) and currency exchange rates.
  13. The maximum price you should have to pay is approximately LUF
  14. 1600.- PLUS local taxes. LUF 1600.- is roughly USD $50.00.

  18.          SHAREWARE VERSION LICENCE AGREEMENT - "FFHA184k"
  19.  
  20.  1. This is a licence agreement between you, the end user, and
  21.     Joaquim Homrighausen. The FrontDoor 2.11 Shareware software
  22.     and information attached hereto, hereafter "FD", is the
  23.     property of Joaquim Homrighausen. Read the terms and
  24.     conditions of this licence agreement carefully before using
  25.     the software. If you for any reason, whatsoever, cannot
  26.     accept the conditions in this agreement, you are not
  27.     permitted to use FD.
  28.  
  29.  2. You acknowledge and agree that FD is a proprietary product
  30.     of Joaquim Homrighausen, protected by applicable copyright
  31.     laws and international treaty provisions. You further
  32.     acknowledge and agree that all rights, title, and interest
  33.     in and to FD are and shall remain with Joaquim Homrighausen.

  35.  3. FD may be used for a period of thirty (30) days on a trial
  36.     basis to allow you to determine its suitability for your
  37.     particular application. After this period you MUST register
  38.     each copy of FD that you run simultaneously. Site and Group
  39.     registrations are available, and are dealt with on a case
  40.     by case basis.

  42.  4. Registration entitles you to use FD and any future versions
  43.     of FD for as long as you wish, subject to any special
  44.     licensing conditions and/or applicable upgrade fees attached
  45.     to future versions.

  47.  5. In the event that you are in violation of this licence
  48.     agreement, you agree and accept that Joaquim Homrighausen
  49.     may cancel your registration and any rights to use FD that
  50.     you may have. In the case of a dispute over the licence
  51.     agreement, you further agree and accept to fully reimburse
  52.     Joaquim Homrighausen for legal and other expenses resulting
  53.     from the dispute.

  55.  6. FD is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind or
  56.     fitness for a particular purpose, either expressed or
  57.     implied, all of are hereby explicitly disclaimed. Joaquim
  58.     Homrighausen only guarantees that FrontDoor will occupy
  59.     disk space.
  60.  
  61.     Joaquim Homrighausen's liability resulting from your use
  62.     or inability to use FD is limited to the amount that the
  63.     affected party has paid for it, or in the event that FD
  64.     was registered with a third party for payment to Joaquim
  65.     Homrighausen, liability is limited to the amount that was
  66.     received by Joaquim Homrighausen from that third party.

  68.  7. Neither Joaquim Homrighausen nor any of his employees,
  69.     agents, or other representatives are in any way obligated
  70.     to provide future versions of, or support for, FD.
  71.  
  72.  8. You may freely distribute and copy FD provided that no fee
  73.     is charged and the FD distribution archive contains
  74.     unmodified copies of the original files as produced by
  75.     Joaquim Homrighausen. Pay Bulletin Board Systems may,
  76.     however, charge their normal fee provided that no additional
  77.     charge for FD is levied. No part of FD may be modified,
  78.     altered, reverse engineered, sold, or distributed in any
  79.     form whatsoever which would involve some sort of trade
  80.     without prior written permission from Joaquim Homrighausen.

  82.  9. FD may not be used in any unlawful or illegal manner.
  83.  
  84. 10. FD may only be used and registered by physical persons for
  85.     use on equipment, including but not limited to telephone
  86.     lines, electricity, hardware, and software, maintained and
  87.     operated 100% by means of taxed personal income. FD may not
  88.     be used to provide commercial services.
